I am delighted to be your MP for South Shropshire, and I am committed to seeing the extraordinary potential realised in our towns and countryside. Within each step of the plan, I will lay out clear objectives and goals to achieve our ambitions for South Shropshire.

These six ambitions will form the backbone of everything I hope to achieve. 

I will be listening, supporting and delivering on each of these priorities so that South Shropshire continues to be a fantastic place to live and work.

  • Unleash Rural Prosperity

    I will unleash rural prosperity by engaging with and raising the profile of South Shropshire's local industries, cutting red tape and reforming regulations to enable businesses to thrive and unlock local growth.South Shropshire is full of potential.

  • Enhance Public Services

    I will enhance public services, understanding the pressures they are under and campaigning to improve services such as efforts to back our community hospitals, fix our roads and tackle rural crime. Our public services are some of the most important elements in our communities that we depen

  • Champion our Farmers

    I will champion our farmers, meeting farmers across South Shropshire to raise their voice in Parliament on issues such as fairness in the supply chain and food security.Growing up in nearby Herefordshire, one of my first jobs was as a farm hand.

  • Support Local Communities

    I will support local communities, given their importance in South Shropshire, by addressing the unique challenges of rural areas and attracting investment for community groups.Our local communities are what makes South Shropshire such a wonderful place to live.

  • Protect the Countryside

    I will protect the countryside, tackling issues like water quality, fly tipping, and safeguarding the National Landscape (AONB), so we maintain the beautiful area for generations to come.South Shropshire is one of the most beautiful places in the country.

  • Invest in Infrastructure

    I will secure transformative investment into infrastructure in South Shropshire to bring necessary change such as fixing the roads and upgrading school and hospital buildings.It is clear that people in South Shropshire often feel left behind by the big cities when it comes to infrastructure and inve
